I can't repro it on version 68.0 How did you commit the candidate of swipe? Do you press "space" to commit it? Do you expect press "space" to commit and won't add extra space?

I'm currently on69 and I'm getting the opposite issues, space not added as expected, but randomly likebetween the on and the69 ...see there again.
