its a security problem. this is high priority bug because if any one want to know when i sign-out the from the gmail it will show the wrong time.

Note that "(or) any other browser" does not make a lot of sense, as data is not shared between browsers anyway.

Also, this is not the place for reporting GMail bugs, really.
this will happens if your in same browser also for showing the bug clearly i have take a picture like two broswers

You can check after logout you just open a new tab it will login state only
this is not only a gmail bug it also a bug from the chrome because after logout from the account why the browser is showing the login details.beacuse of this bug privacy will reduce.any one can check who login before in the chrome
gmail is not allowing to use another app after the signout, but in the chrome browser it is showing the login state

Tentatively labeling this a cookies bug - we've had at least one other report of a user not able to log out of gmail recently.
What was the other report?

For this report, I'm thinking that it could be either that the reporter's account was hacked, that they have a malicious browser extension, or that their computer is infected with some sort of malware. They should try changing their Gmail password and seeing if that helps.

In any case, this does not look like a Gmail security bug.
The other one was issue	827107. I don't see any reason to suspect an account compromise here (and I don't think an account compromise, or malicious extension would have these issues). I suspect some issue deleting cookies, though certainly could be mistaken.
may be it is partially bug from the gmail security because my internet speed is very high if my internet speed is in 2g*(less then 100kb) speed then gmail gmail account is still in the login state.one more thing is there is not malware in my system because my system is protected with paid anti-virus so there is no chance to malware or virus in my system and one more thing is cookies is maintained by the gmail account also may they are not deleting the cookies may it is also happenes so its partially bug from gmail and it may also a chrome bug there is two condition may happenes
1.chorme is not receiving the logout success response from gmail.
2.chorme may have problem while clearing the cookies.

i am not telling the it is fully a security bug but this bug is partially security bug one more please test this scnerio in less speed of internet.
then on that time u may feel it a bug

#5 - oh, by "(or) any other browser" you probably mean "another Chrome window", not a different browser altogether (Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, Edge...). Got it. That makes sense, because cookies are stored at the browser level, not at the tab/window level.

#12 - so when you use a high speed Internet connection with the exact same device (computer, or phone), the bug does not reproduce, but when you use a lower speed Internet connection with the exact same device, the bug reproduces. Is this correct?
#12 No, In both high speed internet and low speed internet bug will reproduce but when your have low speed internet the effect will more on this bug.

#5 gmail account is not linked to the other browser.now i how can i check this bug in other browsers.

#14 - "when your have low speed internet the effect will more on this bug" - how so?
When i have low speed internet then chrome is will get the logout response very late in that situation.
example:
if i have low speed internet and i have logout my gmail and other person came to the same device and if he saw any non official data in the same browser those web link and any info will store on my account in the google database. it may cause some problem in future to my account. it may easy to hack my account.

So... that's why i am feeling it partially security bug in the gmail and as well as chrome bug.

Are you also signed into Chrome?
yes i am a R&D engineer i will use chrome only while research for important topics.because it will store chrome will store my search data based on the my email is only thats y i am using chrome.when i am saw this bug from on that time i am not sign-in to the chrome because of no security in chrome. if it is safe means definietly i will continue with the sign-in.

This may be the same as issue 827107, which is also related to signing out of Google services.
