Copying from table is not including the table

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_4) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/65.0.3325.181 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Go to https://jsfiddle.net/204rdrLt/4/. 2. Select the text from the table. 3. Paste it in the contenteditable DIV below. What is the expected behavior? The table is pasted correctly. What went wrong? It looks the HTML which comes in the clipboard is missing the TABLE tag and that's why when the browser inserts it in the editable area, the TR and TD tags are removed. It doesn't happen all the time. See the attached recording. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 65.0.3325.181 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.13.4 Flash Version:

Unable to reproduce this issue on reported version 65.0.3325.181 using Mac 10.13.3 with steps mentioned above. Attaching screencast for reference. @Reporter: Please check the video and let us know if we miss anything. Also please check the issue on fresh profile which do not have any apps/extensions and by resetting all flags to default in chrome://flags. Thanks!

It is not reproducible all the times. That is visible in my screencast. I was able to reproduce it in the first 2 actions, not on the 3rd one. Probably depends a lot on the place where the cursor is when the selection starts / ends.

stefan@ Thanks for the update. Able to reproduce the issue on Mac OS 10.13.3, Windows 10 and Ubuntu 14.04 and on the latest Canary 68.0.3398.0 and Stable 65.0.3325.181 by following the given steps above. Attached is the screen shot for reference. This is a Non-Regression issue as this behaviour is observed from M60 Chrome builds and the issue is intermittent as well. Hence marking this as Untriaged for further updates from Dev. Thanks..
