Changing which app opens "always open these types of links in the associated app"

Reported by peter.co...@gmail.com, Apr 9 2018

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_2) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/65.0.3325.181 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Go to a torrent site
2. Click on a magnet link to open a torrent program
3. Then a modal pops up with the wrong torrent program as the default"always open these types of links in the associated app"

What is the expected behavior?
That is the expected behaviour but I don't want to use that program I want to use another torrent program I have installed.

What went wrong?
To change this setting is easy in FireFox and after Googling for an hour or so it looks like you don't want to provide the info on how to change this setting. I say that because aI spent most of my time on you help/forum pages

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 65.0.3325.181 Channel: stable
OS Version: OS X 10.13.2
Flash Version:

Please provide the info on how to change what program is used when clicking on a link on a page that is a Torrent Magnet lInk, for someone using a MBP with macOS?

reporter@ - Thanks for filing the issue...!!

Tried testing the issue by clicking on a magnet link at https://www.archlinux.org/download/, but did not get any popup.
Could you please provide a sample test file/url to test the issue from TE-end.

Thanks...!!

Hi,

Not sure what you mean with:
"...

https://www.archlinux.org/download/, but did not get any popup.
Could you please provide a sample test file/url to test the issue from
TE-end.
..."

Here a screenshot of what I got when I clicked on the link you refer to
above and as you can see it definitely gives a popup.

Best regards
Peter

Yes, I cannot find any way to clear this setting via the UI. Duping into existing issue about this.
Yes exactly, that's why I made the report!
