[MacViews-Browser] Regression: Omnibox mouse over hover doesn't appear any longer

Chrome Version: Canary 67.0.3390.0 
OS: macOS 10.12.6

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Enable chrome://flags/#views-browser-windows
(2) Open a window
(3) Focus the Omnibox
(4) Type something into the Omnibox, so that the Drop Down appears
(5) Mouse over the results in the Drop Down

What is the expected result?
Hover State should appear.

What happens instead?
There is no Hover state any longer.

This is a recent regression in latest Canary with enabled MacViews flag.

This is fixed for me in latest Chrome Canary 68.0.3398.0 on macOS 10.12.6. Tested on a MacBook Air 11" 2012 Non-Retina.
