Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/65.0.3325.181 Safari/537.36 Example URL: Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Go here in Chrome: https://f1lt3r.github.io/svg-readme-experiments/with-emojis-as-html-entities.svg 2. See that there are no emojis if your browser is fullscreen 3. Drag the size of the screen around 4. See that dragging the screen smaller makes the emojis show up What is the expected behavior? 1. Go here in Firefox: https://f1lt3r.github.io/svg-readme-experiments/with-emojis-as-html-entities.svg 2. See that there are emojis when your browser is full screen What went wrong? What is the screen size and DPI settings needed to reproduce the problem? And is zoom involved, either via Chrome or the window system?

I guess those are bitmap(ed) glyphs, and we don't want to show those at all sizes or something. Does "text-rendering: geometricPrecision" help in any way?
