Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Install Atom in a VM
2. Run atom via shell: GDK_SCALE=2 GDK_DPI_SCALE=0.5 XWL_SCALE=1 xwl-run /usr/share/atom/atom
3. Try to right click in the file tree(left side)

What is the expected behavior?
Right click context menu appears

What went wrong?
xwl-run gets an assertion error:
xwl-run: xwl.c:3392: xwl_send_data: Assertion `!xwl->selection_event_source' failed.

Without xwl-run the context menu works appropriately
