Issue descriptionSteps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open some url in browser 2. Turn on the barcode reader (wake it up from sleep) 3. Current page is reloaded What is the expected behavior? Page is not reloaded as on desktop (windows) version. What went wrong? Problem is that we need it for our web application (used in our stock for products search by eans) and reload of page overy time when i need to use barcode reader is really annoying. Is there some way how to disable this behaviour? Did this work before? No Chrome version: 65.0.3325.109 Channel: stable OS Version: 7.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 29.0 r0 I found related question on stackexchange - https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/82692/why-does-chrome-reload-the-page-when-i-turn-on-my-bluetooth-keyboard

Directing over to the Chrome for Android team for triage. This is not a Web Bluetooth issue (removing Blink>Bluetooth).

In Android, you can define the configuration changes that you support. If you don't list them, it will restart your app. Our list of defined supported config changes are here: https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/2a41181f2d8c230a2d233f77288abfd8d093aef6/chrome/android/java/AndroidManifest.xml#443 The full list is here: https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/manifest/activity-element.html#config We already include the two keyboard and keyboardHidden changes. In the video, it mentions of switching the language when you connect the device. Chrome specifically doesn't support switching locales on the fly as we have too many resources loaded to do that effectively. If that is implicitly changing your language, then that is the issue that you'd like to find a work around on, but that will be something at the platform/OEM level and not Chrome unfortunately.
