Cros splitscreen - Minimized window doesn't snap correctly in splitscreen (sometimes)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Open at least 3 windows and enter tablet mode 
(2) Enter overview mode and drag one window to snap to left. There should be 2 windows left in the overview grid
(3) Select the second one to snap to right
(4) Minimize the right window
(5) Enter overview mode, select the window that is not the minimized window. It should be snapped to right in splitscreen.
(6) Enter overview mode again, now select the window that is the minimized window.

What is the expected result?
The minimized window should be snapped to right in splitscreen

What happens instead?
The window from (5) is snapped to right in splitscreen, and the left side of the splitscreen is all black. See attached file
