Grant "create reference" permission for src/apps/camera/ |

Issue descriptionI am developing Chrome camera app, located in src/apps/camera. Our release schedule is not tied to ChromeOS/Chrome releases and therefore have to create our own release branches. I tried to follow the instruction here, but I am not able to "git push" my local branch due to lack of "create reference" permission. Could you grant me "create reference" permission so I can create the release branches for src/apps/camera?

The group apps-admin has permission to create branches in the apps/* repositories. Please work with vapier, satorux, and/or mtomasz to get these branches created.

Do you mean this group: https://groups.google.com/a/google.com/forum/#!forum/apps-admins ? I can't find vapier, satorux, and/or mtomasz in the group. Could you point me to the apps-admin group you mentioned?

The permission configuration inefficient. apps-committers should be able to create remote branches. Let me see if I can grant create reference permission to app-committers members. If not, I will add you to app-admins at least temporarily to unblock you.

I don't seem to have permissions to change the permission settings. Added you to apps-admins temporarily. @vapier: Could you help changing the permissions so it's more granular?

apps-committers@ should have create access in /apps/camera/ now. considering the permission (can only create new branches under refs/heads/ from existing commits), i think that's fine. https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/1034233 i've dropped yuli@ from apps-admin since i don't think that's needed anymore ? feel free to re-open if you need anything else. |
