Might be unrelated, but FWIW in Windows the only difference is sub-pixel rendering, which is expected.

Unable to reproduce the issue on Win-10 and ubuntu 17.10 and 14.04 using chrome reported version #65.0.3325.181 and latest chrome version #67.0.3387.0. Attached a screen shot for reference. Following are the steps followed to reproduce the issue. ------------ 1. Opened the link http://jsbin.com/yijakahasi/edit?html,css,output 2. Did not observe any blurred text. reporter@ - Could you please check the issue on latest chrome version #67.0.3387.0 by creating a new profile without any apps and extensions and please let us know if the issue still persist or not. The problem seems to affect web fonts only, not locally installed fonts.
