Chrome no longer offered for viewing local HTML files

Issue descriptionSteps to reproduce the problem: 1. Have a HTML file somewhere on your phone's storage. 2. Use Android's built-in file explorer (Settings -> Storage), navigate to the above HTML file and click on it. What is the expected behavior? Android's activity chooser pops up and offers a list of apps that can open that HTML file, among them Chrome. What went wrong? Chrome is no longer offered as an app that can open the HTML file. Did this work before? Yes No idea, but definitively working in current release version (65.0.3325.109) Chrome version: 67.0.3384.0 Channel: canary OS Version: Android 6.0.1 Flash Version: It looks like https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/b9b03ea833f07ac5862564f57e5abad370b45d0d%5E%21/#F0 (https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=821538) accidentally removed the <data android:scheme="content" /> entry from the "text/html"/"text/plain"/"application/xhtml+xml" intent filter.
