I'm relatively sure the bulk of this smoothness improvement came from "Blacklist accelerated 2D canvas and GPU raster on old macOS/Intel" which makes sense. Closing.

ericrk: fyi. A lot of our perf bots are running MacOS 10.11, which means we're not measuring Ganesh on them. |
