Black tiles show up and flicker while scrolling

Chrome Version: 66.0.3359.45
OS: Debian 4.9.82-1+deb9u3 (2018-03-02) x86_64 GNU/Linux

Can't repro, but steps to what happened are below
(1) Open chromium-review.googlesource.com
(2) Expand all files to review code
(3) Scroll down through files

What is the expected result?
Normal view of page as scrolling

What happens instead?
Black tiles showed up and would flicker and pop in and out at different locations.

See attached screenshot for example (there were more black tiles when I took the screenshot, but only one came through).

After I switched tabs and came back they were gone.

Not sure if this is the best component.  I saw it when I started scrolling, but it could be something else.

amp@ Thanks for the issue.

Tested this issue on Ubuntu 14.04 and 17.10 on the reported version 66.0.3359.45,latest Beta 66.0.3359.66 and latest Stable 65.0.3325.181 and unable to reproduce the issue.
On navigating to the above given link and scrolling through the files, cannot observe any blank tiles on the page.

As this issue is reported on Linux Debian, adding TE-NeedsTriageFromHYD label and requesting someone from Inhouse team to look into the issue and help further.

This happened one other time yesterday (same version of Chrome and same site), but aside from those two instances I haven't seen it again.

Unable to reproduce the issue on Debian Rodete with chrome Beta #66.0.3359.45 & #66.0.3359.81 as per steps mentioned in the comment #0

As per comment #6, this is a inconsistent issue, requesting for the dev team to look into this issue, hence adding TE-NeedsTriageHelp label

Unable to reproduce on Debian Linux with:

Google Chrome 67.0.3386.1, or
Google Chrome 66.0.3359.81



Given that it appears to be related to tiling, assigning to sunxd@ to see if they have better luck reproducing.
