FYI I updated crbug.com/827188 . I think it's possible making primary framebuffers use RGBA could cause, though I haven't tested.

It looks more like tiling/modifier confusion, but either way, I'll take a look.
My mistake. According to songsuk@ in #4, this bug appears on 10523.0.0 but not on 10504.0.0. Since the Chrome version is the same in both those builds, it's not a Chrome bug and not related to the recent Chrome GFx changes.

It could be caused by a (1) ChromeOS change or (2) an ARC++ change.
Bad build : CrOS 10521.0.0/ 67.0.3376.0
Good Build : CrOS 10520.0.0/ 67.0.3376.0

No Chrome change, no Android change. But mesa got upreved:
https://crosland.corp.google.com/log/10520.0.0..10521.0.0

I can reproduce on a samus here, so it's probably broadwell specific mesa regression.

Is anybody looking at this, since we determined no Chrome / Android change caused this? Should we assign to Intel?

Coudl it simply be a tiling mismatch between the old arc-mesa and the new Chrome OS mesa? If so, Chad's work on updating mesa in arc should fix this.
Is this limited to paine? If so we'll RBB on that board only. Need to get this triaged since it's a RBB, however.
Unable to reproduce the issue on 10575.12.0/67.0.3396.16 - Paine. I'm not able to see the ui glitch on Android apps.
