What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Open Secure Shell
(2) Observe lack of focus on any UI element
(3) Observe none of the keyboard keys have an effect

What is the expected result?

Pressing Enter connects to the most recently-connected-to host, arrow keys select different hosts, Tab moves the focus, etc.

What happens instead?

Nothing

This is similar to  bug 806587 , from which I copied the 1-line summary because the behavior is the same.  However, that bug is closed and almost 2 months old, and I have updated my ChromeOS repeatedly since then.  In addition, this was not happening to me before two weeks ago (possibly even more recently), so it may be a regression.
