Issue descriptionChrome Version: na Chrome OS Version: na Chrome OS Platform: Ubuntu 17.10/Debian stable 9.4 Network info: wired Please specify Cr-* of the system to which this bug/feature applies (add the label below). Steps To Reproduce: (1) download linux_recovery.sh from https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/1080595?hl=en-GB (2) run using model identifier TERRA D25-E4C-A2I-A6A-A6L (3) result: Downloading config file from https://dl.google.com/dl/edgedl/chromeos/recovery/recovery.conf If you know the Model string displayed at the recovery screen, type some or all of it; otherwise just press Enter: TERRA D25-E4C-A2I-A6A-A6L This may take a few minutes to print the full list... There are up to 155 recovery images to choose from: 0 - <quit> Please select a recovery image to download: " now oddly enough...if you go to /tmp/tmp.crosrec/config.txt there's quite a lot of data in there and in particular the urls do produce valid .bin.zip files that even hash to what they are supposed to...but they are not presented to the user. I tried typing "1" and "2" when it was asking for a recovery image...and it seemed to pull the first two. I haven't tried to figure out what number that would make the one I'm probably looking for(it's in there though) How frequently does this problem reproduce? (Always, sometimes, hard to reproduce?) 100% What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is it? Could probably figure out what the .bin.zip file you need from the config.txt above is, and use dd manually to put it on a usb thumb drive. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screen shot or log if possible. there's a choose_list() |
