Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/65.0.3325.181 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. fill out web forms with different names and addresses 2. notice that even though not confirmed by the user, new autofill entries are created What is the expected behavior? ask the user before adding a new autofill entry What went wrong? new entries created automatically and fills up autofill profiles with garbage entries Did this work before? roblehew@ Thanks for the issue. Tested this issue on Windows 10 and Mac OS 10.12.6 on the reported version 65.0.3325.181 and the latest Canary 67.0.3387.0 and unable to reproduce the issue by following the below steps. 1. Launched chrome and navigated to chrome://settings/autofill. 2. Added details under Addresses and navigated to Amazon.in Sign up form. Can observe that on clicking on the name field, the entries are not auto filled and just suggestions are shown. Attached is the screen cast for reference. Request you to retry the issue on a new chrome profile without any flags/extensions and update the thread with the observations. Thanks..

thank you for the comments and the video, it makes it clear that you've misunderstood the bug. the bug isn't that autofill is automatically filling out forms for me, it's that new autofill entries are created when i manually fill out forms. for example, delete all but one autofill entry that represents your name and address that is what you want to be able to put into a form on any website that is asking you for your address info. now go to a website and don't use autofill, but manually fill out the empty web form with information that is DIFFERENT than what you already have as the single autofill entry...pretend you are filling out a form to send flowers to your mom for mothers day so you're not entering your name or address into the web form. the bug is that autofill keeps creating new autofill entries every time you fill out a form with different info. in the example above, a new autofill entry is created with my mom's name and her address. slowly the list of autofill entries gets bigger and bigger and bigger and you have to delete all the extra ones to get back to the one entry that is the one you want to be there that represents your accurate info.
