Issue descriptionChrome Version: 66.0.3359.52 (Official Build) Revision f46e3984da4d3208d54bcf0fff0989ea80c597d8-refs/branch-heads/3359@{#387}(32/64-bit). OS:Win(7,8,8.1,10), Mac(10.12.6, 10.13.1, 10.13.4) and Linux (14.04 LTS). What steps will reproduce the problem? (1)Launch chrome and login into first user with valid credentials. (2)Create a new user and login with same credentials such that 'This account is already being used...' overlay appears. (3)Drag 'learn more' link to new tab, close the overlay and click on 'switch' button observe Actual: Unable to switch to first user after clicking on switch user button. Expected: Should be able to switch to first user after clicking on switch user button. This is a Non-regression issue seen from 'M60' series i.e. 60.0.112.0(official build) Note: Issue is also reproducible on Stable #65.0.3325.181 Beta #66.0.3359.45, Dev #67.0.3377.1 and Canary #67.0.3379.0 build.

I do not consider this a bug as we do not expect users to drag and drop the contents of a dialog to a tab, and if the user does that then they should not expect that the correct functionality would work. I think I would consider addressing this bug if the app would crash or if there was any risk of user data loss (but from the video there is no such risk). |
