Issue descriptionDevice name: Nexus 6P From "Settings > About Chrome" Application version: 65.0.3325.109 Operating system: Android 8.0 URLs (if applicable): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VVhd0a4WlRgt5bhEySay1j7JrY-kEHda/view This issue is continue of https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=810337 Steps to reproduce: 1. Install the apk and open 2. Home -> Resources -> Tables 3. Open any table 4. Now change the orientation of device Expected result: Table should re-align in Opened mode Actual result: Table is closed and needs to be reopened.

Tested the issue using Chrome and WebView #65.0.3325.109 on Nexus 6P; 7.1.2 as per the steps mentioned in original comment. Below are the observations: 1. Issue is not observed on Enabling WebView and disabling Chrome 2. Issue is not observed on Enabling bot WebView and Chrome CC'ing @boliu from the issue 810337 . @boliu: Could you please take a look at this issue and help

This is an app issue, and I'm not going to spend too much time investigating what happens. In this case, a orientation change appears as a resize to the page. From traces, there are two things that are odd * the app calls load again on rotation. don't do that * the web page is clearly reacting to the resize by doing a whole bunch of js and layout. and apparently the result is what you see. I'd suggest you go back and examine what your app is doing exactly. |
