Launcher close instead of folder view when tapping back button in clamshell mode

Chrome Version: 66 beta

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Open a folder in clamshell mode
(2) Click back button

What is the expected result?
Go back (close the folder)

What happens instead?
Closes launcher

I think back-button on keyboard should be fixed by issue 819668, I just merged it back to M66 today.

Tested on 71, first "back" closes the folder, second closes the launcher.
