Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10176.76.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/64.0.3282.190 Safari/537.36 Platform: 10176.76.0 (Official Build) stable-channel samus Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Try to open a downloaded file named "A Direct Algorithm for Type Inference in the Rank 2 Fragment of the Second-Order -Calculus.pdf" 2. 3. What is the expected behavior? File should open like normal What went wrong? File won't open. I get a crash page with the error message Your file was not found It may have been moved or deleted. ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 64.0.3282.190 Channel: stable OS Version: 10176.76.0 Flash Version: I downloaded a file to my chromebook named "A Direct Algorithm for Type Inference in the Rank 2 Fragment of the Second-Order -Calculus.pdf". However, when I try to open it, I get an error page that says Your file was not found It may have been moved or deleted. ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND If I rename the file, then it opens as normal. It appears that Chrome can't handle file urls with symbols in the name. Note: the url for the tab is file:///home/chronos/u-caf9a14eff71f0aea07c43d2933ef5106fcc782c/Downloads/Papers/A%20Direct%20Algorithm%20for%20Type%20Inference%20in%20the%20Rank%202%20Fragment%20of%20the%20Second-Order%20%15-Calculus.pdf

I am able to reproduce with the attached file. Note that the filename contains 0x15 char.

To reproduce, download the given text file and rename it by copying name. Or just rename any existing file on your system. You can also reproduce by copying the name within quotes in #c1.

Doesn't repro with %15, which is what's in the original bug. But doe repro with %09 (horizontal tab). Re-opening. |
