Reposition/Resize - Hotspot extends well above the title bar |
|||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: 67.0.3379.0 OS: Android 8.1.0 on Pixel 2 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Launch https://www.google.com (2) Enter VR Browsing (3) Hover the control over the Title bar to get the Reposition/Resize bar/border to appear. (4) Continue to raise the control above the Title bar. What is the expected result? The controller icon should change and clicking in this area should do nothing. What happens instead? The Hitspot for the Title bar appears to be twice as large. Clicking out here invokes Reposition/Resize.

Reopening this. There is already 3x the cursor slop in the actual title bar, there is no need for 6x times. It also makes it look like we don't know what we are doing with the cursor off the bar and still interacting with it. I suggest either (1) resizing the are to match the title bar or (2) resizing the title bar to match the slop. The spec does not call for any slop, just an oversized title bar.

It appears the spec does call for the extra slop. Added a comment to the spec to see if this is the correct direction from a users prospective. It looks/feels to me that there is something wrong with the app/control when the Reposition/Resize icon keeps the Title bar open when the cursor is clearly beyond it. Re-closing as WontFix. |
