Reopening, as we will now be using the voice search button in the omnibox for regular width environments.

[iOS] Update the voice search button guide to the omnibox trailing view.

According to the bug, the mic icon should be seen in omnibox all the times but I am unable to see it. Could you please clarify how to reproduce this to see the mic icon in   omnibox? 

It can be seen in landscape and on iPad.
