See also https://ci.chromium.org/buildbot/chromium.chromiumos/linux-chromeos-rel/6216 where the falsely identified CL's revert is included in the same change delta as the one I reverted later (in 976433), with the compile error still resulting.

(This is the first false positive for auto-revert so far.)
