abhilashkr31@ -- Thanks for the reply. Have referred the video while performing the test while updating the C#2. Could you please try by Disabling and Enabling Chrome by navigating to Device Settings >> Apps & notifications >> Chrome and let us know your observations. If the issue is still observed please collect and share the logs while the issue is being reproduced.

Thanks!
Hi there,
I am not able to find the settings you are referring to. Can you share in a
little more detail.
Plus I checked on my friend's Moto G phone. The issue can be replicated on
that too.

Thanks,
I will share the logs. Just send me the right steps.

Thanks,

Tested the issue in Android and able to reproduce the issue. Similar behavior is observed since Chrome M-55.

Steps Followed:
1. Launched the Chrome Browser.
2. Navigate to the URL: m.youtube.com
3. Top on any of the video.
4. Before the video starts playing, tap on device back button.
5. Observed that, though the user is redirected to the previous screen audio seems to play in the background.

Issue seems to be reproduced very inconsistently.

Chrome versions tested:
55.0.2883.91, 65.0.3325.109(Stable), 67.0.3381.0(Canary)

OS:
Android 7.1.2

Android Devices:
Nexus 6P

This seems to be a Non-Regression issue as same behavior is seen since M55. Untriaged for further input's on this issue.

Hi There,

I don't work in google, and not able to create the bug report there?
Can you help me more?
Hi - Bug report is not required any more. Please refer Comment #9.
I mean I am not able to report the problem on that link you sent. May be it
needs someone from Google. I am an outsider actually.
