Text on images are not appearing at all or not fully appearing

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/64.0.3282.186 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Play this url -  http://emaze.me/mb2018test#Home
2. Scroll down the page - text is not appearing (see attached screen shots of missing text)
3.When playing this url on Firefox, edge and safari browser the text appears fine
4. it works fine on a variation of the above url:  http://app.emaze.com/@AOLFQFLFF#Home

What is the expected behavior?
the text should appear on the images

What went wrong?
The text is not appearing

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 64.0.3282.186  Channel: n/a
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version:

Attaching some images showing the issue more clearly. Clicking on the text causes it to pop on top of the image as expected. This looks like a paint issue.

I'll bisect this when I get a chance, but I suspect it's old. Note that the other images and text seem to be fine.

Able to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 64.0.3282.186 and on the latest canary 67.0.3379.0 using Windows 10, Ubuntu 14.04 and Mac 10.13.1. 
Similar behaviour is seen from M60(60.0.30720.0) hence considering it as Non-Regression. 

Attaching the screenshots from M60 and M67 for reference. Removing Needs-Bisect label as this seems to be Non-Regression. Please feel to add it back if required.
