Regression: Unable to connect to network when correct password is entered after an attempt of entering shorter wrong password |

Issue descriptionChrome Version: 66.0.3359.48/10452.22.0 beta channel Kip, Reks, Daisy OS: Chrome OS What steps will reproduce the problem? (1)Recover build>> In OOBE screen Connect to Network overlay, give some random wrong password(5-6 letters only) for some connection and again give correct password>> Click on connect and observe Actual: Unable to connect to network when giving correct password also Expected: Should be able to connect to network when giving correct password This is a Regression issue as same is working fine in M64 stable NOTE: Issue is seen on M65, M67 also @Stevenjb: Please confirm the issue

That looks an awful lot like issue 819422, which should have been fixed in 66.0.3359.37. Can you double check the version? I can not reproduce this in ToT (67).

I wasn't able to produce this using my phone as a hotspot on 10452.22.0 / 66.0.3359.48. Can you please test the following (assuming the version is verified): * Does this affect other networks or just GoogleGuestPSK? * Does this only happen during OOBE, or does it happen in the login screen? When logged in? Also, please file and link a feedback report.

Unable to reproduce the issue on 67.0.3381.0/10525.0.0 dev channel Daisy,Kip and Reks and also unable to reproduce on 66.0.3359.67/10452.30.0 beta channel Daisy,Reks and Kip. Thanks!
