Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10323.58.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/65.0.3325.167 Safari/537.36 Platform: 10323.58.0 (Official Build) beta-channel cyan Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open convertible device and change to tablet mode 2. Touch a text field and observe the onscreen keyboard appears 3. Touch the overflow icon (left of the spacebar) 4. Tap the settings (gear) icon 5. ChromeOS Settings opens, but cannot be closed. What is the expected behavior? Settings should have a window control line at the top, or should close by tapping the Back icon. What went wrong? There is no apparent way to exit from the Settings screen. You must either change to laptop mode, or press the overview icon and close it there or switch back to the Chrome window. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 65.0.3325.167 Channel: stable OS Version: 10323.58.0 Flash Version: 29.0.0.113 I am a Chromebook Central TC

The swipe down does work for me. Thanks dymphe@ It was not obvious that gesture was available and certainly is confusing to many users.

This is "normal" behavior in tablet mode - non tabbed windows do not show a 'close' button in tablet mode. The window can be hidden by toggling the icon in the launcher, after hiding the on screen keyboard. Perhaps the thing to do is to hide the on screen keyboard when opening settings?

Assigning for UX feedback.

This is the intended behavior. Close button is accessible by swiping down from bezel whether the OS keyboard is visible or not. Other method is closing it via overview.

I think the original bug is just a discoverability issue with the swipe down to close feature. Doesn't seem related to either settings or virtual keyboard. Redirecting back to UI>Shell and marking as Wont-Fix. |
