omnibox suggestions are not dismissed on opening incognito tab from today's view |

Issue descriptionApp Version: 67.0.3369.0 Canary iOS Version: 11.3 beta 5, 10.3.3 Device: iPhone Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch chrome 2. Open NTP page and type in any content which shows omnibox suggestions 3. Keep the app in background and go to todays view 4. Tap on the incognito button 5. Close the incognito page 6. Move back to the tab page opened in step2 Observed results: Notice that omnibox suggestions are still displayed Note: Open incognito from 3d touch, will dismiss the omnibox suggestions Expected results: Omnibox suggestions should be dismissed Number of times you were able to reproduce: 5/5 Bug reproducible after clean install: Yes Bug reproducible after clearing cache and cookies: Yes Bug reproducible on Chrome Mobile on Android: No Bug reproducible on Safari/Firefox: Firefox: NA, Safari: NA Bug reproducible on current stable build (App Version, iOS Version): No on M65 Bug reproducible on the current beta channel build (App Version, iOS Version): yes on M66 Link to video/image: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QGBo7-7NCf7VghNNmviSGzC_dB84Naaa/view?usp=sharing

This is definitely not an RBS, and I'm not even sure this is not WAI. I'll take a further look later.

I think it is either WAI, or if this is considered a bug, it means that omnibox should be dismissing popup on dismissModals. I would say it is not WAI, mainly because opening a normal NTP in the same conditions dismisses the popup.
