Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/64.0.3282.186 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: * There are many duplicated bookmark tabs * I removed all bookmark tabs from bookmark manager, but chrome automatically loaded them again. * I tried to remove them several times. They appeared again in a couple of minutes. It looks chrome loaded those bookmark tabs from cloud and cannot be deleted from my laptop. What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? Thanks for filing the issue! Checked the issue on reported chrome version 64.0.3282.186 and on the latest stable 65.0.3325.181 using Windows 10 with the below mentioned steps. 1. Launched Chrome 2. Bookmarked few pages 3. Navigated to chrome://bookmarks 4. Deleted few of them. We didn't observe the deleted bookmarks appearing again. @Reporter: Could you please check the same in a new profile without any apps and extensions in it, and let us know if the issue still persists.

As we are unable to reproduce the issue on latest stable 67.0.3396.62 and there is no response from the reporter from a long time, closing this issue and marking it as Won't fix. @Reporter: Please feel to raise a new issue if there are any issues observed on the latest chrome builds. Thanks! |
