Touchable Chrome: overlapping labels when using a keyword search |
||||
Issue descriptionTo repro, run a ChromeOS build with --top-chrome-md=material-touch-optimized 1. Install a custom search engine via right click on omnibox, edit search engines 2. Type the search engine keyword into the omnibox to trigger it 3. Observe the attached screenshot It's possible this will go away if we return to the single line layout. It looks like the single line label is animating in over the double line omnibox results dropdown, causing this weird look.

obsolete - this is only an issue in the two-line omnibox results layout which I don't think we're planning to ship anywhere.

tapted@, answers and the forthcoming rich entity suggestions are multiple lines. Try typing "weather san francisco". Indeed, I get a two-line weather suggestion upon typing "weat" or "weather". If I had a keyword for this word, this might be a problem. Can you re-test?

I added a keyword for weather.com in chrome://settings/searchEngines. Pressing tab replaced the rich suggestion fine. |
