Issue descriptionSteps to reproduce the problem: 1. Visit a Website with a modal popup ad 2. Allow the modal popup to display 3. What is the expected behavior? Users want to be able to avoid clicking on "Ok" in the modal popups. Users want to be able to delete the page from their browser history. What went wrong? The modal popups prevent Android users from deleting the page from their history. There is no way to close the window. Either you click on "ok" with no idea of what happens next, or you delete Chrome from your phone (losing all bookmarks, cookies, etc.). Here is an example URL that created the problem on an Android: https://geektyrant.com/news/christopher-eccleston-says-he-wanted-to-die-while-making-gi-joe-and-thor-and-doctor-who-almost-killed-his-career It does not happen on the desktop (maybe my ad blockers are better on desktop than mobile). I found this site in Google News. Would not have visited otherwise. The other site (triggering same problem on different phone) had one of those crazy URLs with a mix of numbers and letters. Not sure how she got to it. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 65.0.3325.162 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: We need a way to clear the most recently visited page from the browser without having to load the browser itself. Trying to click on the "close window" icon before the modal popup returns (when reloading the page) is impossible. This has now happened on two phones (two separate users in my family).
