This is a pure Android issue. Why does the user agent string say Linux? OK Android is Linux based, I forgot. Anyway, it only happens on Android.

Tested the issue using #67.0.3377.0 on Samsung J7; 7.0.0 and could not reproduce the issue as per the steps mentioned in original comment. @jidanni: Could you please update Chrome to latest #67.0.3377.0 and check if you still face the issue? If so attach a sample Crash I'd from chrome://crashes. Thanks!!
