Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/65.0.3325.162 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
Try the code:

`<div>text&emsp;text</div>&emsp;<div></div>text<div></div>`

In DOM inspector, you can see the first `&emsp;` in a whole text node, and you can see the third `text` as a text node solo, but you can't find the second `&emsp;`.

Chrome never displayed a whitespace-only node in devtools.
Firefox correctly displays it, see the attachment.
