Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/64.0.3282.186 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. google-chrome-unstable --headless --no-sandbox --screenshot test-string.html What is the expected behavior? Should output a screenshot.png. What went wrong? Instead crashes with: [0318/004319.371079:ERROR:gpu_process_transport_factory.cc(1019)] Lost UI shared context. Fontconfig warning: "/etc/fonts/fonts.conf", line 146: blank doesn't take any effect anymore. please remove it from your fonts.conf [0318/004319.707423:ERROR:crash_handler_host_linux.cc(437)] Failed to write crash dump for pid 604 Cannot upload crash dump: failed to open --2018-03-18 00:43:19-- https://clients2.google.com/cr/report Resolving clients2.google.com (clients2.google.com)... N/A Does this work in other browsers? N/A Chrome version: 67.0.3371.0 dev Channel: stable OS Version: Ubuntu 14.04 Flash Version: Appears to be the result of scaling a large image. Attached are two test cases: test-string.html embeds that image via a data URI; test-file.html instead references it as a file called puzzle_piece.png. The image itself (puzzle_piece.png) is 375813 bytes, with a resolution of 3799 x 4031 pixels. The crash appears to be the result of scaling the image, as via max-height in CSS. Though if you omit that CSS and instead run, e.g., google-chrome-unstable --headless --no-sandbox --screenshot --window-size="3799,4031" test-string.html it also crashes. Also crashes with google-chrome-stable 65.0.3325.162. Does not crash on non-headless Chrome 64.0.3282.186 on macOS 10.13.3.

Unable to reproduce this issue on 67.0.3371.0 using Ubuntu 14.04 with steps mentioned below. Attaching screencast for reference. 1. Placed attached files in one folder and navigated to that folder in terminal. 2. Now in terminal typed google-chrome-unstable --headless --no-sandbox --screenshot test-string.html and able to see screenshot.png file in that folder. @Reporter: Please check the video and let us know if we miss anything. Also please check the issue on fresh profile which do not have any extensions/apps and then check the issue. Thanks!

This seems to work fine based on my testing too. Please reopen if you can reliably reproduce this with M66 or higher. |
