Issue descriptionChrome Version:67.0.3369.0/10493.0.0 dev channel Jerry,Peppy,Candy OS: Chrome OS What steps will reproduce the problem? (1)Sign-in to user>> Navigate to chrome://settings/cupsPrinters (2)Click on Add Printer>> Add some printer>> In Select a printer manufacturer and model, Hover on the box beside browse option and observe Actual: I-beam pointer is seen instead of Arrow pointer. If its intended, should be able to type something in the box. Expected: Arrow pointer should be seen This is a Regression issue as same is working fine in M62 NOTE: Issue is seen on M63,M64,M65 and M66 also @xdai: Please confirm the issue

No longer repro'ed. Arrow pointer is seen on the input box.

The input field is [readonly] which is why it doesn't actually allow users to type in it, but I think the cursor being caret is still valid because once there's text within the input, users should be able to do text selection by dragging left or right. P.S: I personally think file selection shouldn't have an input field at all - Instead it should just show the path in text form once the selection is made. see native file chooser: http://jsfiddle.net/2wu390pm/ ..but that's design scope creep :)

According to #6, the cursor being caret makes sense here. Thus close it. Feel free to reopen it if you don't agree. If we want to replace the input field with a text filed, please file a separate bug for it. |
