Issue descriptionDevice name: Moto G Play Build/NJH47F From "Settings > About Chrome": Application version: 65.0.3325 Operating system: Android 7.1.2 Steps to reproduce: (1) Load any website that requires you to write something in boxes. (2) Write something into the boxes on the website. (3) Plug in or connect a physical keyboard (either via usb otg or bluetooth) to your android device Expected result: A) The website automatically reloads in desktop mode, but does not forget what you entered before into the boxes. Instead, it fills out the boxes again automatically. B) The website does not reload or change. Actual result: website reloads, and you loose everything that you have entered in fields. Possible solutions: A) Chrome remembers everything that you entered before a website mode change (mobile -> desktop or vice versa) and puts all the information back in. => much more complicated to implement. B) Chrome does NOT automatically switch the website to desktop mode when plugging in or connecting a physical keyboard. => much easier to implement. As long as you do not have solution A implemented, please provide solution B. I do not want to loose all my hard work.

Tested the issue using #65.0.3325.109 on Moto Z Play 7.1.2 and could not reproduce the issue as per the steps mentioned in original comment. @conrad: Could you please update Chrome to latest version #65.0.3325.109 and check if you still face the issue? Thanks!!
