Unable to reproduce this issue with Ubuntu 17.10, gnome on reported version 65.0.3325.146. Seeing different UI here.

@Reporter: Could you please let us know on which Desktop Environment you are seeing this issue. If it is not Gnome please let us know how to setup that.

Thanks!

Sorry, my fault
You have to unset "use system title bar and borders". The problem is in borders, drawn by Chrome itself. My first screenshot demonstrates problem titlebar and borders, the second one demonstrates decorations drawn by system for Chrome and the last one is an ordinar GTK application.

s.chebotar@ Thanks for the update.

Able to reproduce this issue on Ubuntu 14.04 and 17.10 on the latest Stable 65.0.3325.181 as per comment #5.
Issue is not applicable on Windows and Mac OS.

After unchecking "use system title bar and borders" on Chrome window, can observe the chrome window border cut at the border as in the attached first screen shot.
Attached is the screen shot for reference.

This is a Non-Regression issue as this behavior is observed from M60 Chrome builds.
Hence marking this as Untriaged for further updates from Dev.

Thanks..

Tom: there's a bug somewhere about the border being too thick, right? I couldn't find it with a quick search.
