Large close/minimize/maximize buttons extra large

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/65.0.3325.146 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open browser

What is the expected behavior?
close/minimize/maximize should be ~half the size they are

What went wrong?
close/minimize/maximize icons are ~double the size. As you can see on screenshot, they are super large.

Did this work before? Yes Two/three releases ago. Cannot remember version #

Chrome version: 65.0.3325.146  Channel: stable
OS Version: Ubuntu 16.04.4

seems that it's the same issue what I have.

I searched for "large icons" and didn't find any results at the time.
