The control_files.tar also shows these "client/config" directory entries. https://storage.cloud.google.com/chromeos-image-archive/veyron_mighty-paladin/R67-10482.0.0-rc1/control_files.tar?_ga=2.57112874.-1030099716.1510283896 No idea what client/config is, and sounds fishy.

Potentially related to https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/#/c/chromiumos/overlays/chromiumos-overlay/+/845472/

Yes, my CL mentions client/config and looks suspicious. Let's revert it speculatively.

Thanks for revert. I will take a look what caused the failure.

The autotest eclass and ebuilds are really a mess. It might be necessary to force an uprev of the autotest.ebuild or some other related ebuilds, as it is possible that the incorrect files are now included in some prebuilts.

I agree autotest eclass/ebuilds are poorly written... It's a good point we may need to force uprevs. I prepared a whitespace change: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/#/c/chromiumos/third_party/autotest/+/958306
