Security bug found on google chrome while giving an online exam

Reported by sandeepk...@gmail.com, Mar 12 2018

Issue description

I am an Engineering student and most often I give Online Exams on various websites.

I know that while giving an online exam, we cannot copy the questions and paste
it on google to find answers because it is being disabled by the website.

But in Google Chrome, I found a security bug that these questions can be copied
through chrome, if we press Ctrl+p while giving an online exam, It will open a new frame or window to print these questions and after that, if I press right click, I am able to copy all the content of it. By the help of this, It is easy to copy and paste the questions to find answers on google.

I checked on various websites but surprisingly it worked in all of them.

An image is attached to show how it works.

Hope this problem should be fixed soon.

Thanks for the report. There are many ways a user can bypass protections such as this that websites might try to put in place. For the same reasons outlined at https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/master/docs/security/faq.md#Why-arent-physically_local-attacks-in-Chromes-threat-model we don't treat such bypasses as vulnerabilities in chrome.
