Migrate everything off mosys for identity

Project Member Reported by sjg@chromium.org, Mar 12 2018

Issue description

At present mosys has the ability to figure out the identity of the device it is running on. This duplicates code in cros_config, but whereas the latter supports yaml, mosys does not.
Rather than add yaml support to mosys it might be better to adjust all callers to use cros_config instead of mosys (i.e. drop the 'mosys platform' command). That way mosys will never need to deal with identity and the existing device-tree code can be removed.

Summary: Migrate everything off mosys for identity (was: Migrate everything off mosys for identit)

Charles and I were discussing this, it may be easier in the short term to combine the identity logic into a library that both cros_config and mosys export.

Yes that would be easier in the short term. In fact as I understand it, Jason can create a library out of part of mosys fairly easily now, with the work he has done.

In the long term we hope to drop 'mosys platform'. I'm just not sure how long term...
Yes, makes sense
