Highlight expression doesn't evaluate it on .ts files

Reported by mosh...@gmail.com, Mar 12 2018

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/65.0.3325.146 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open a .ts file in devTools which contains `console.log(4 + 5);`
2. Highlight an expression `4 + 5`.

What is the expected behavior?
A tooltip should show up and present the output of the expression => 9

What went wrong?
The tooltip preset `4`. (attachment "bug1")
The wired thing is that when I move this line bottom (by pressing Enter), the result it OK (attachment " bug2 ").

Did this work before? N/A
