Issue descriptionChrome Version: 66.0.3359.26 (Official Build) b3471a2c378d1cfc5be97bb38b9c32038d1aef14-refs/branch-heads/3359@{#146}(32/64 bit) OS: Windows-10 Touch Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch chrome and navigate to‘chrome://settings/resetProfileSettings’. 2. Tap/touch on 'current setting' link on overlay such that link will open in new tab. 3. Now navigate back to previous tab(i.e setting page) and observe. Actual: Unnecessary checkbox on Reset setting overlay gets unchecked on tap/touch on 'current setting' link Expected: Unnecessary checkbox on Reset setting overlay gets unchecked on tap/touch on 'current setting' link This is a Window-10 touch device specific regression issue, broken in M-66 series, and below is bisect info : Manual Bisect: Good Build: 66.0.3350.0(Revision:537343). Bad Build: 66.0.3352.0 (Revision:538313). Unable to provide bisect through per-revision script, as chrome builds for #66.0.3357.0 are getting crashed while bisecting on Win-10(Touch device)OS. Hence, providing through old bisect script(chromium builds). Narrow Bisect: You are probably looking for a change made after 537519 (known good), but no later than 537521 (first known bad). CHANGELOG URL: https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+log/2a6316cbf58a58b8f5e29758e645e43469aff312..04f68ff8420a40a405969c3251a119afb0697a96 Suspecting: r537521? @dpapad: Could you please look into the issue, pardon me if it has nothing to do with your changes and if possible please assign it to concern owner. Note: Issue is not seen on Win(7,8,8.1,10) ,Linux(14.04 LTS) and Mac(10.12.6 , 10.13.1 , 10.13.4) Kindly refer attached screen cast for reference

Both the actual and expected screencasts, seem unexpected to me. When clicking outside of the dialog, the dialog is supposed to do a pulse effect without checking/unchecking any items. I am not able to reproduce this using DevTools device mode, and don't have a Windows 10 touch device. Either way, removing RBS, since this bug does not seem to prevent the user from completing the task.

I think this bug is related to similar touch issues reported at issue 823221. I don't think I am the right person to own this, marking as available. |
