Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/65.0.3325.146 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open a file in local (mifile.html) 2. Open Developers Tools > Overrides 3. Choose a Overrides directory and edit mifile.html 4. Save changes in mifile.html > refresh page 5. No changes saved :-( What is the expected behavior? Overrides should override the mifile.html, it should work as online (view attached vĂdeo) What went wrong? Overrides do not override the mifile.html when refresh the page. This only happens in local files (file:///), with online files works well (http://) as seen in the attached video. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 65.0.3325.146 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.2 (Windows 8) Flash Version: Overrides is not made to work in local files? or it is a bug?

Able to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 65.0.3325.146 and on the latest chrome version 67.0.3368.0 using Windows-10, Mac 10.12.6 and Ubuntu 14.04. As the issue is seen from introduction of overrides option in Devtools > Source tab from M-65(65.0.3320) considering it as non-regression and marking it as Untriaged. Note: As overrides option is not seen till 65.0.3319.0, from the introduction of overrides option from 65.0.3320.0 issue is been observed. Thanks!

It appears like it does not work for javascript files either. I can save changes to CSS only. This is strange as it was working for me, and then it stopped suddenly. |
