When pausing Webkit inspector inside javascript code executed from a plugin, chrome keeps complaining about unresponsive plugin

Reported by gtg1...@gmail.com, May 9 2011

Issue description

Chrome Version : 12.0.742.30
OS Version: 5.1 (Windows XP)
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
     Safari 5: n/a
  Firefox 4.x: n/a
     IE 7/8/9: n/a

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Have a NPAPI plugin make a callback to a javascript function asynchronously, with a breakpoint inside the function to be ran
2. When the inspector pauses inside the function, wait.
3. After a while, a popup confirmation box appears asking if you wish to terminate the plugin. This will happen repeatedly if you keep hitting no.

What is the expected result?
That the debugger know it's okay to be inside the plugin and paused and not complain every 1 minute or so.

What happens instead?
It complains every one minute or so.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

UserAgentString: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/12.0.742.30 Safari/534.30

John, do we have a solution for this developer use case?
There is a secondary issue that when this happens Chrome (18.0.970.1 canary on Windows 7) itself hangs if you wait for some length of time before clicking 'No'.
I'm having this issue. Plug-in not responding alert while debugging, asks would I like to stop it. I hit No and it comes back shortly.
