Issue descriptionChrome Version: 65.0.3325.146 OS Version: Win 10.0 What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Open DevTools 2. Go to a page which issues a HTTP 30x redirect 3. After the page is loaded notice the time column in devtools for the redirection alone contains a longer interval than for the following HTTP 200 4. it's best visible on sites triggering 307 HSTS redirect because it doesn't include server round trip time, like http://preloaded-hsts.badssl.com/ What is the expected result? The HTTP redirect timing in DevTools should not include content download for the following HTTP 200 What happens instead of that? The timing for 30x seems to include content download triggered by the following 200. The attached screenshot was taken in incognito mode, no extensions. The associated net-internals URL_REQUEST event is attached too. Thanks for filing the issue! Unable to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 65.0.3325.146 using Windows 10 with the below mentioned steps. 1. Launched chrome 2. Navigated to https://www.michalspacek.cz/ 3. Opened DevTools -> Network -> refreshed the page We didn't observe any values with 307 status. Attaching the screen cast of the same. @Reporter: Could you please have a look at the screen cast and let us know if we have missed anything in the process of reproducing the issue. It would be highly helpful if elaborated on "should not include content download" which is mentioned in comment#0. Any further inputs may help us.

Hi Vamshi, sorry for my steps being vague. Try this: 1. Launch Chrome 2. Go to https://www.michalspacek.cz/ 3. Open DevTools 4. In the address bar, change https:// to http://, hit Enter 5. Go to DevTools 6. First line should be HTTP 307 7. Below should be HTTP 200 with shorter time than for the 307 above I'm attaching a screencast, which should help you to follow steps. To elaborate on "should not include content download": the timing for the 307 code, Internal Redirect (because the site is HSTS enabled) seems to include "Content download", it even displays "Content download" when you hover your mouse on the waterfall (sorry it's cropped in my screencast, hope that's fine). But 307 in this case doesn't trigger any content download, it's an Internal redirect, there's nothing coming from the server. Other redirect codes, like 301, also seem to include content download, even if they don't make the browser download anything except the associated HTTP headers. Hope this helps!

Able to reproduce this issue on Mac 10.13.3, Win-10 and Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome reported version #65.0.3325.146 and latest canary #67.0.3368.0. This is a non-regression issue as it is observed from M60 old builds. Hence, marking it as untriaged to get more inputs from dev team. Thanks...!!

Correction: Marking the issue untriaged from M-61 as in M-60, after changing https:// to http:// in the address bar and hitting Enter did not trigger HTTP 307. Thanks...!!
