crosvm: Failing in generic asan amd64 builder with ASAN errror.

Project Member Reported by cmt...@chromium.org, Mar 8 2018

Issue description

Around 2am this morning (March 8) the amd64 generic ASAN started failing in UnitTests while building the crosvm package. The ASAN assertion error is:

https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/#/c/chromiumos/third_party/toolchain-utils/+/955901

The builder is here: https://build.chromium.org/p/chromiumos/builders/amd64-generic-asan

One of the failure build logs is here:

https://logs.chromium.org/v/?s=chromiumos%2Fbb%2Fchromiumos%2Famd64-generic-asan%2F23795%2F%2B%2Frecipes%2Fsteps%2FUnitTest%2F0%2Fstdout

This is a regression and needs to be fixed ASAP.

This is caused by an update in the rust toolchain that seems to not have propagated to the builder for unknown reasons. crosvm failed to compile because a recent change depends on this new rust toolchain.
i forced a clobber on the two bots. i think that should workaround the issue.
