Cannot uninstal as it says close all open chromium windows, and there arnt any

Issue description<b>Chrome Version : <Copy from: 'about:version'></b> What steps will reproduce the problem? (1)go to Programms and featurs (2)right click on chromium (3)select uninstall What is the expected result? chromium should uninstall What happens instead? Window popup appears saying Please close all chromium windows and try again, (I do not have any chromium windows open, or chrome windows open) Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.

Unable to reproduce this issue on chromium latest stable 64.0.3282.186 using Windows 10 with steps mentioned below. 1. Installed chromium and tried uninstalling from control panel. 2. Right clicked on chromium and selected uninstall button and build uninstalled successfully. @Reporter: Please check whether you have any chromium background processes running in windows task manager. If there are any try ending the process and then uninstall build. If issue is still reproducible please restart the machine and check. Also please let us know on which version you are seeing this issue. Please report us back the behavior, this info would help in further triaging of the issue. Thanks!

As we are unable to reproduce the issue on latest stable 67.0.3396.62 and there is no response from the reporter from a long time, closing this issue and marking it as Won't fix. @Reporter: Please feel to raise a new issue if there are any issues observed on the latest chrome builds. Thanks! |
